The Department of Philosophy is hiring a Lecturer whose teaching specialization is in Biomedical Ethics, to teach an interdisciplinary course that draws undergraduate students from Biology, Biomedical Sciences, and Philosophy, and other courses that may include A.I. ethics, neuroethics, environmental ethics, philosophy of race, feminist philosophy, and/or social and political philosophy. Candidates should have experience and interest in effectively teaching Biomedical Ethics, a Ph.D. in Philosophy or related field at time of appointment, and an interest in, and preparation for, effectively teaching GSU’s highly diverse student body.
