Philosophy in the Community
Our program consists of graduate students and professors who are willing to deliver lectures or lead philosophical discussions in schools, academic clubs and other community venues.
The Jean Beer Blumenfeld Center for Ethics
The aim of The Jean Beer Blumenfeld Center for Ethics is to foster fruitful engagement with the whole range of ethical questions, from those that concern the private life of the individual to those that confront all of humanity.
Visiting Scholars
Visiting scholars are typically faculty members on leave or advanced graduate students who wish to pursue their research in the department. Visiting scholars should have a Ph.D. in philosophy or a related field, or, if they are graduate students, should have completed their coursework.
Speakers
Every semester the Department of Philosophy hosts lectures and colloquia from speakers across the discipline.
