Center for Ethics Student Forum
The CESF's goal is to enhance moral reflection, dialogue and constructive action on campus, in greater Atlanta and beyond, and to support students and members of the larger community who wish to construct lives of personal integrity and responsible citizenship. CESF shall pursue this purpose through innovative programming designed to stimulate critical thinking about the ethical issues inherent in our personal, professional and civic lives. Further, CESF will enrich and expand the experiences of undergraduate and graduate students at Georgia State University by having guest speakers, open forums, and social gatherings in the hopes of achieving its purposes.
Civil Discourse Forum
This organization fosters a capacity to engage with different viewpoints and ideas in a welcoming manner. We believe this contributes to a healthier democracy.
Minorities and Philosophy at GSU
Minorities and Philosophy (MAP) International is a global network of graduate students promoting minority participation in academic philosophy. The MAP Chapter at GSU, established in 2021, aligns with this mission by addressing structural injustices and enhancing diversity. Our chapter fosters positive change and a more inclusive environment in the GSU philosophy department through respectful dialogues and peer support within our community.
